Meredith Mattingly

Veterinary Assistant

Meredith has been working at Reynolds Road Animal Clinic since March 2018, but she has been a Veterinary Assistant since May 2005. She's been married since 2004 to a man who brings home every stray critter he finds in need, and has one son who loves animals as much, if not, more than she does. She has two dogs, Clementine and Leela, and one cat named Mr. Weasley. She also participates in foster and rehab programs when needed. Meredith has been known to "poke a possum" on the side of the road to look for orphans needing rescue.

She LOVES working in the veterinary field and can't imagine doing anything else with her life! She enjoys singing (karaoke is her jam) and spending time outdoors whenever possible. Meredith also loves a good scary movie marathon and is always down for a Renaissance festival or a mushroom hunt. Her favorite part of the job is being able to be a voice for the animals. She comes to work hoping that when she locks the clinic doors at night, she's made a difference for someone that came in that day. You can find her working in the back playing music and singing along, passing out snacks to animals and people, and pumping up our team with her sunny outlook and positive attitude.

Shauna Smith

Receptionist/Office Manager

I am married to a great man that supports me in all that I do.  We have a little boy that I believe has my love for animals.  He loves going to the pet stores to look at fish, turtles, lizards, and spiders.  We have 3 dogs at home, a Chihuahua, Boston Terrier, and a French Bulldog.  As well as 2 birds, Meyers Parrot and Lilac Crowned Amazon.

I started working at Reynolds Road Animal Clinic as a Vet Assistant right out of high school back in 1998. I have also worked at the Animal ER Clinic, that was a next level kind of learning in animal care.  I have been at this clinic for so long that it feels like home to me.  I take so much care and have so much love for all of our customers and patients that I just don’t see myself anywhere else.

Sarah

Receptionist

Joining the RRAC team in June 2025 marked my exciting debut in the veterinary field. I've spent a lifetime loving and caring for animals and I quickly discovered that animals are truly healing. Since I can't have pets of my own right now, I pour all that love into our patients! Getting to know your 'fur kiddos' is the highlight of my day! I'm blessed to be a part of this team! Outside of the clinic, I enjoy crocheting, reading, fishing, long walks and spending quality time with my loved ones.

Emily

My name is Emily! I have been working at the clinic since June 2024! I was born and raised in Benton! I was a PCT for four years, but decided animals are much better to work with. I have one lab named Nellie, and two cats named Terry and Mimi. In my free time I enjoy crocheting, reading, going to the gym, and country concerts. I couldn't be more thankful to be at RRAC and getting to meet new people and fur babies everyday!

Hello!

Peik Lin Mayonnaise

(A.K.A... Piglet - Pig - Piggie Pie - Her Highness, and Your Majesty )

Office Supervisor/ HR/ Security

Piglet has been ruling the clinic since August 2018 when she was surrendered after being diagnosed with Spina Bifida as an 8-week-old puppy, which results in urinary and fecal incontinence. She received treatment including acupuncture and chiropractic sessions to help improve her condition, but it has never been fully resolved.

Before you start to feel sorry for her, please know that she has a full staff of servants that wait on her hand and foot, all the toys and treats she could possibly demand, and a permanent throne upon which she sits like a house gargoyle to monitor everyone’s work ethic and see that all the clients are properly cared for. You will find her sleeping on her bed or guarding the front desk, and most definitely begging for treats to be put in the cup that she carries everywhere. She enjoys whooping up on her toy alligator, demanding to go out and pick cherry tomatoes for snacking, overseeing plant care and watering, and checking in on hospitalized patients. She lives with Dr. Belt where she also rules the roost at home, deciding who is allowed to come and go, and keeping her other doggy roommates in check.
